Bryan graduated from Leeds Dental School in 1993 and joined Bamford Dental Practice in 1994 where is now a Senior Partner.

Pete qualified from Liverpool Dental School in 1993.
He completed a Vocational Trainee year at a practice in Lancashire and remained there until 1997. Between 1997- 2001 he worked in a multi-surgery practice in Rochdale town centre.
Pete then moved to Norden in 2001 and worked as a single handed practitioner for nearly 12 years.

Dilip qualified from Birmingham in 1976. After a short stint in community dentistry he worked at various hospitals in the oral surgery and orthodontic departments for a period of three years.
Following a two year position in general practice, he went to work in Libya. He joined Bamford Dental Practice in April 1982. At that time the practice had 2 surgeries and was situated on Bury Road.
Dilip was a partner at the practice between 1983 and 2011. He was involved in the design and set up of the initial practice on this site, which was a single storey building, opening on December 1st 1984.

Syed graduated from the University of Manchester gaining the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2009.
Syed spent a further 12 months completing Vocational training at a practice in Padiham in Lancashire where he further developed the skills to improve the health and vitality of his patients, providing for all their dental needs and requirements.

Nick is a Primary Care Orthodontist working exclusively at Bamford Dental Practice.
Nick qualified from Birmingham University in 1985 and joined Bamford Dental Practice in 1986 as a General Dentist. In 1991 he became a partner in the practice.
In 1991 Nick completed part time Orthodontic training at Booth Hall Hospital and scaled down his general dental work to concentrate on orthodontic treatment.
From 1996 Nick has worked exclusively in orthodontics treating approximately 300 patients per year for their orthodontic needs.

He is originally from Teesside and qualified from The University of Newcastle in 2006. He was married in the same year and moved to his wife’s home town of Bolton, where she is now working as a partner in a GP practice.
Jonathan completed his vocational training in general practice in Bolton and stayed on at the practice. He has always had an interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology so during this time also worked part time in hospital as a Clinical Assistant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Salford Royal Hospital, he spent some time as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in a post which was based in Royal Blackburn Hospital. Jonathan has recently completed a Master of Science Degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Manchester (graduating with distinction) where he now also teaches.
He has passed the Membership examination for the Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and also the Membership Exam for the Joint Dental Faculties of England. Maria is a Specialist and Consultant Orthodontist. She works part- time as a Consultant Orthodontist in South Manchester and part-time in Specialist practice.

Lee Valentine graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1993 after winning the Henry Wade Deacon Scholarship and worked as a General Practitioner in the NHS for 3 years before continuing his education at Manchester University in the Department of Restorative Dentistry where he undertook two years post graduate training in endodontics (root fillings).
He has accepted referrals throughout the North West for conventional and reparative endodontic procedures for over 10 years. He is experienced in the use of microscopy and the latest instrumentation and obturation protocols.

Our Therapists & Hygienists
Lesley is a registered dental hygienist and therapist and works in both private practice and the community dental service.
Lesley worked as a senior dental nurse teaching and preparing fellow dental nurses for their national dental nursing qualification in Rochdale, Oldham, Salford and Huddersfield Colleges.
Lesley left dental nursing to train as a dental hygienist and therapist in 1999 at Sheffield University and qualified in 2001.
Since qualifying Lesley has continued to work in the community dental service in Rochdale treating nervous patients and those with learning disabilities (both adults and children).
As part of her role as a hygienist and therapist, Lesley works under prescription from the dentist and not only carries out periodontal treatment but also places fillings, extracts deciduous (milk) teeth, takes dental impressions and provides oral health advice.
Lesley is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists and the British Association of Dental Therapists.

Della is a registered dual qualified Dental Hygiene/Therapist and is currently working in 4 dental practices throughout the borough, treating both NHS and private patients.
Previously Della worked as a dental nurse for 6 years in general dental practice, during which time she studied for her dental nursing and oral health certificates.
After leaving dental nursing Della attended Leeds dental institute to train as a dental hygiene therapist.
In 2006 she was awarded the Diploma of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and was also awarded the Yorkshire BADT Prize for Paediatric Dentistry.
Della thoroughly enjoys all aspects of her work, especially the treatment of small children.

Jenny is a registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist and is currently working in two Dental practices in the North-West.
After completing her A-levels, Jenny went straight on to do a Three year degree in Oral health Science at the University of Manchester, Graduating in July 2011. She enjoys every aspect of her work, especially treating patients who have complex periodontal (gum disease) problems and working with patients with special needs. She also works closely with patients to improve gum care in preparation for dental implant treatment.

Our Practice Manager
Sally qualified as a dental nurse in 1987 and for the following seven years she worked in various practices.
Sally joined Bamford Dental Practice in May 1994 as a Dental Nurse. She became Practice Manager a few years later having moved from surgery to reception.
Sally is responsible for the day to day running of the practice and is in charge of all the staff. She is also responsible for implementing all the regulatory procedures and protocols that are the legal requirements for dental practices.
